April 26, 2012: Dozens of Jamaican New Yorkers packed into a Brooklyn town hall forum Wednesday evening to see their prime minister.</p>
<p>It was the first visit to the U.S. for Prime Minister of Jamaica, Portia Simpson Miller,  since winning re-election. She left the island earlier this week for a number of engagements in New York and Philadelphia in the United States, including receiving the award for TIME 100 Most Influential Persons.</p>
<p>The PM will journey to Philadelphia to attend the Penn relays where she will be a special guest of the University of Penn and Team Jamaica Bickle. The Prime Minister will return to the island on Sunday. </p>
