Haiti Fundraiser in Soho

Artist, Guy Stanley Philohe, attends the 2nd Annual Hands for Haiti Fundraiser, in Soho, New York City, Wednesday October 19, 2011. Proceeds will be used to improve Port-au-Prince’s infrastructures including: the re-building of a primary and secondary school, the implementation of clean water, sewage and energy systems, as well as stimulate the local economy through various projects. Guy Stanley Philoce, a native of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, migrated with his family to the United States, in 1980. After attending art school in New Heaven, Connecticut, he moved to New York, where he is currently living and working. His artwork has been refered to as beautiful organization of chaos.
