News Americas, LOS ANGELES, CA, Fri. Aug. 12, 2011: Looks like Jennifer Lopez will be returning to “American Idol” after all.
Executive producer of the show, Nigel Lythgoe, made the disclosure to Ryan Seacrest, on his radio show Wednesday.
“I believe we’re still waiting for the official announcements but I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of ‘American Idol,’ (are) back for the next season,” stated Lythgoe.
According to TMZ, Lopez got a huge pay bump – from $12 million last season to $20 million to return to the show next season. The announcement comes on the heels of her divorce from husband Marc Anthony.
