The cheerleaders are ready for The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Twenty20 cricket in South Florida.

News Americas, FORT-LAUDERDALE, FL, Fri. July 21, 2017: A popular Caribbean sport’s tourney is returning to South Florida this August.

The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Twenty20 cricket will be back in Lauderhill, Florida, for the second successive year, for four matches on August 5 and 6.

The matches will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill.

The tournament will officially get underway on Aug. 4 at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia. The action then shifts to Lauderhill for the next two days.

Guyana Amazon Warriors take on St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the first game at 11 a.m. Aug. 5, while Barbados Tridents will play Jamaica Tallawahs at 3 p.m. the same day. St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots will be up against Guyana Amazon Warriors at 11 a.m. the next day while Jamaica Tallawahs will take on Barbados Tridents again at 3 p.m.

The finals of the tourney will be played at the newly opened Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad in September.

The CPL is in its fifth year, is set to run from August 4th to September 9th.
