West Indies Players Bargaining Negotiations Begin Today

News Americas, PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Mon. Aug. 8, 2011: The West Indies Players Association and the West Indies Cricket Board will begin negotiations over a players package today.

President and CEO of WIPA, Dinanath Ramnarine, explained, “We want to aid the negotiation process and foster free discourse among the parties. This way there can be no doubt at all about the constructive approach we intend to use and the positive spirit which we will take to the negotiations.”

WIPA has appointed Dave Kissoon and Michael Hall to head its team.
