Aug. 27, 2012: Trinbagonians who kept their flag flying high in New York’s five Boroughs for the last 50 years, pose for photographers after they were honored at the 2nd Annual Calypso & Soca Review Tent opening, at Tropical Paradise Ballroom, in Brooklyn, New York, Sunday August 26, 2012. The Calypso and Soca Review Tent is also celebrating Jamaica’s and Trinidad & Tobago’s 50th Independence Anniversary. The tent will run for 7 nights, from August 26 – September 1st, and will feature non stop calypso and soca music nightly.
