The Russian American Foundation, held it’s 9th Annual Russian Heritage Festival, at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York City, Thursday June 9, 2011. Irina Shayk, an internationally acclaimed model and the first Russian to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2011, posed for photographers as she arrived for the Festival. Slava Zaitsev, Russia’s renowned Haute Couture Designer, posesd with some models in his designs before the start of the festival. Slava Zaitsev, in 1969, the Museum of Modern Art, in New York, showcased his collection of women’s clothing.
