News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. June 22, 2018: Popular entertainer Capleton’s legal woes continue as his bail related to rape charges has been extended. The artiste was ordered to return to court on July 13th following a court appearance late last week.
Capleton, whose real name is Clifton Bailey, is out on J$250,000 bail. The prosecution was also ordered to make disclosure to the defense by today, June 21st.
Capleton, 51, was charged on May 11 on allegations that he sexually assaulted a hairdresser that he hired at a hotel in New Kingston on April 28th.
