News Americas, MOUNT MAUNGANUI, New Zealand, Fri. Mar. 4, 2022: West Indies women’s cricket team defeated their New Zealand counterparts by three runs in the opening game of the ICC Women’s World Cup at Bay Oval today during the Round 1 Women’s Cricket World Cup match.
The Windies women scored 259 off 50 overs with Hayley Matthews being the main contributor with her knock of 119. She then bagged 2 Kiwi wickets for just 41 runs.
