1: Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall
This Rose Hall, Jamaica all-inclusive resort tops the list for the Caribbean and is listed among the world’s top 13 all-inclusives according to TripAdvisor readers. The Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall is located in Montego Bay in a secluded north-shore enclave. Its architecture is a mix of palatial colonial estates and European opulence with modern amenities. The beach is steps away all around this adults-only resort where you can relax and soak in the sun or swim or snorkel. Cinematic sea and garden views are available from 189 of the Grand Hotel Rose Hall’s rooms, while 104 rooms boast direct beach access. Concierge and butler services are available, as is 24-hour room service. In addition to Jamaica’s umbrella-clad, rum-based cocktails, the island’s culinary offerings at this resort add some spice-of-life with favorites such as jerk chicken or the national dish, ackee and saltfish. Its fruit selection is an experience unto itself, going beyond coconuts and mangoes and travelers can indulge in june plums and sugar apples as well.
2: Luxury Bahia Principe Samana Don Pablo Collection
Coming in at second for the Caribbean and 18th globally is this Samana Province, Dominican Republic resort. This resort is on the beach and is within a 5-minute walk of Cayo Levantado Beach and Playa Las Flechas. At this all-inclusive adults only Paradise, you can hang out on the private beach or spend the day relaxing at the full-service spa. Then enjoy a meal at one of the resort’s 5 restaurants. All 149 rooms boast jetted tubs and offer free WiFi and 24-hour room service.
3: Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus
And rounding out the top three for the Caribbean and the Top 21 globally is this Bayahibe, Dominican Republic resort. The Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus is a family style all-inclusive located 1.3 mi (2.1 km) from Dominicus Beach and within a 10-minute drive of Bayahibe Beach. This 504-room, 3.5-star resort has a private beach, a full-service spa, and 7 restaurants. The 504 rooms are air-conditioned and have an array of amenities, including balconies, minibars, and coffee makers.
The beach here has some of the softest sand and calmest waves in the D.R. while there are three clean pools, including a separate activities pool and a children’s pool as well.
There is a superb scuba diving center and name-brand liquor is included while the party scene lasts until midnight.
