News Americas, HAVANA, Cuba, Tues. Oct. 4, 2011: Jamaican-born reggae legend, Robert Nesta Marley, is set to be remembered in Cuba this month.

Cuban musicians will join Paul Everton and Dave West, members of the Jamaica to Toronto project, in Havana on Oct. 22 to remember the late great Bob Marley on the 30th anniversary of his death.

The “Paul does Marley y La Academia” show is set for the Fine Arts Theater.

Marley was born Feb. 6, 1945 and died of cancer in 1981 at age 36.

Among his greatest hits are songs such as “One Love,” “I Shot the Sheriff,” “No Woman, No Cry” and, together with The Wailers, the group he headed, “Three Little Birds.”
