Day One Of U.S. Open Gets Underway

News Americas, FLUSHING, NY., Mon. Aug. 27, 2012: The 2012 U.S. Open got underway in Flushing, NY today, August 27th with new dad and native New Yorker, James Blake, among the players who took the court, despite some passing rain showers. Blake, 32 and playing in his 12th US Open, defeated Lukas Lacko of Slovakia 7-5, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in the first round in Louis Armstrong Stadium Monday.
