News Americas, HAVANA, Cuba, Weds. Sept. 28, 2011: Cuba’s former President, Fidel Castro, has slammed U.S. President’s Barack Obama for spewing “gibberish” during his address last week at the United Nations.

Castro, 85, writing in his newspaper article, said Obama tried to justify the “unjustifiable.”

“Who understands this gibberish of the president of the United States before the General Assembly?” Castro wrote. “Has any nation been excluded from the bloody threats of this illustrious defender of international peace and security?”

The articles are part of the “Reflections” the former Cuban leader writes, which are published by state media.
