News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. Nov. 14, 2016: Four Caribbean islands have been rattled by small magnitude earthquakes over a four day period, data from the UWI Research Seismic Center and the US Geological Survey (USGS) shows.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, both Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago were rattled by quakes. The USGS said that a quake with a magnitude of 4.4 occurred in Haiti at 1:00 a.m. (local time). It was located on land at a depth of 12.3 km, at least five kilometres north of Les Anglais (South), 51 km northwest of Les Cayes, 35 km southwest of Jérémie. The quake was also felt in the capital, Port-au-Prince.

Also on Saturday, at 4:57 p.m. local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 occurred northwest of Trinidad and Tobago.

On Wednesday, Nov. 9th at 11:34 a.m. local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 and depth of 53km. occurred east of Saint Vincent .and the Grenadines. And on Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 1:05p.m. local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 and depth of 90km occurred south east of Dominica.

No reports of deaths or injuries have been reported in any islands.
