News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Thurs. Aug. 4, 2011: Guatemala’s soccer side has been whipped by Saudi Arabia in their Group D encounter in Armenia.

The Saudis scored six goals to cement their Round of 16 progression in the U-20 World Cup group D soccer tourney.

The team will now face Nigeria on August 6th while Guatemala has been ousted from the tourney after also losing to Nigeria.

“We were nervous after the first goal and missed too many passes,” Guatemala’s Paraguayan coach, Ever Almeida, said. “It was an honor to come here. The players did everything possible, but football is more than just heart.”
