July 3, 2014: At 8:42 pm on July 3, 2014, as pedestrian and automobile traffic go about their business on Ave I and Flatbush Ave, in Brooklyn, New York, the clouds over Brooklyn, got very dark before eventually bursting and bringing a shower of pounding rain followed by lightening and thunder.
