News Americas, LONDON, England, Mon. June 20, 2011: Trinidad & Tobago minister of government and vice president of the world soccer federation, Jack Warner has called it quits.

Warner announced his resignation from FIFA as well as head of CONCACAF. The move will result in all investigations into bribery allegations against him being dropped.

FIFA released a statement that said because of Warner’s “self-determined resignation” all ethics procedures against him “have been closed and the presumption of innocence is maintained.”
