Jamaican Reggae Singer Busted For Ganja

NewsAmericas, Marigot, St. Martin, Fri.  Sept. 15, 2011: Jamaican reggae singer, Denroy Morgan, has been busted with ganja.

The singer, known for hits like, I’ll Do Anything For You,’ was nabbed by New York City Police, during a routine traffic stop. Police say a strong smell of the narcotics was emanating from a car Morgan, father to the group Morgan Heritage, was driving in  the Bronx.

A search resulted in 25 pounds of the drug being found in the car of the 66-year-old singer. Police were later led to search a house on Taylor Avenue where some 300 pounds of the drug, worth about $300,000 was also found.
