Following his decision to shutter his ready-to-wear line, French fashion’s enfant terrible has revealed his next move to spearhead the Japanese outfitter’s new premium clothing line. It turns out that Jean-Paul Gaultier hasn’t exactly been devoting 100% of his time to his Haute Couture collections, as was announced earlier this year. Mr. Gaultier’s refined designs will seek to “make many women look beautiful,” and the line will be named “Jean Paul GAULTIER FOR Sept Premières”, explained the Japanese apparel retailer.
