Nadal Extends Unbeaten Streak At U.S. Open

News Americas, FLUSHING, NY, Weds. Sept. 4, 2013: Rafael Nadal cruised on unbeaten in the U.S. Open Wednesday, beating Tommy Robredo mercilessly, 6-0, 6-2, 6-2.

The world No.2 took down his fellow compatriot in just 22 minutes.

“I think I played my best match of the US Open this year,” Nadal said afterwards. “It gives me a lot of positive energy.”

Next up for the 2010 champion is Richard Gasquet, whose legs are bound to be feeling the cement underfoot after back-to-back five-setters.
