News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. June 17, 2016: Republican Presidential hopeful Donald Trump just can’t seem to get his facts straight. The Donald is now claiming falsely in a New York Times magazine interview, that U.S. cities Oakland and Ferguson are among the “most dangerous” cities in the world. The most dangerous cities in the world are actually largely in Latin America according to a report by Mexico Citizens Council for Public Security. Here are the top 10:

 Caracas, Venezuela

 San Pedro Sula, Honduras

 San Salvador, El Salvador

 Acapulco, Mexico

  Maturin, Venezuela

 Districo Central, Honduras

 Valencia, Venezuela

 Palmira, Colombia

 Cape Town, South Africa

 Cali, Colombia.

Out of the top 10, Latin America is home to 41 of the most dangerous cities. Only four cities in the United States of America are featured in the top 50. They are St. Louis (Rank 15), Baltimore (Rank 19), Detroit (Rank 28) and New Orleans (Rank 32). Apart from Cape Town, three South African cities included in the list are Durban (Rank 41), Nelson Mandela Bay (Rank 42) and Johannesburg (Rank 47).
