News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. July 13, 2018: British comedian, John Cleese, says he is leaving Britain in fury for the Caribbean.

Clesse, according to BBC’s Newsnight, said he is angry that British politicians hadn’t brought in proportional representation or ordered a second Leveson inquiry. He said he doesn’t like British newspapers, the British voting system or the way Brexit was debated

And so the Monty Python comic says come November, he is moving to Nevis.

‘I’m very disappointed with the way the country is run. My particular beef is with the newspapers,” he told BBC’s Newsnight. Among his other gripes, he listed bankers, the dearth of good comedy on TV and the lack of irony among ‘George W Bush voters’ in the US.

In the late 1960s, Monty Python, the comedy troupe, was responsible for the sketch show Monty Python’s Flying Circus and the four Monty Python films: And Now for Something Completely Different, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life.
