News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 17, 2018: Grammy-winning superstar, singer, actress and entrepreneur, Rihanna, has many guessing as to what exactly she’s shooting on a Caribbean island.
This after photos began circulating on Twitter from magazine Vistar, of RiRi along with American actor and comedian Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover.
According to Vistar, the two are shooting a new project in Cuba. Reports are that that project is a musical called ‘Guava Island,’ which will be directed by Hiro Murai and also feature Nonso Anozie and Guyanese-born actress of Black Panther fame, Letitia Wright.
So far, according to Vistar, the crew, including Rihanna, have been filming in several locations in the Cuban capital, including the textile factory of the Alamar municipality and the Abreu Fontán Social Circle in Miramar.
It is the second visit to Cuba for Rihanna, who was on the island two years ago for a photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine. At that time she posed for the American photographer Annie Leibovitz in the streets of Havana and the La Guarida restaurant.
