News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. Nov. 26, 2018: The defending T-20 champs were ousted from the competition late last week by Australia’s women. The Windies women lost by 71 runs with Skipper Stephanie Taylor saying after: “I thought the last six overs was crucial. We let them get away. Even though we let them get 142 we, as batters, didn’t bat properly. Everyone is different but I know we came into this with a lot of confidence, it as just one of those days when we didn’t come off where the bat was concerned. I just want to thank all the crowds for supporting us, we are sorry we couldn’t get across the line.” Australia went on to beat England Saturday in Antigua by 8 wickets to claim the 2018 Title and bragging rights.
