Caribbean Airlines Names Acting Head As CEO Quits

News Americas, PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, October 30, 2015: Regional air carrier Caribbean Airlines, has named an acting chief a day after its CEO called it quits.

Michael DiLollo, who had served as who was appointed CEO of CAL in May, cited resigned with immediate effect on October 28th citing personal reasons for his decision.

He has been replaced temporarily by Tyrone Tang, the company’s Chief Financial Officer who will serve as Acting Chief Executive Officer while the Board conducts a search for a permanent replacement.

DiLollo, a Canadian-born pilot, had replaced Robert Corbie in the top spot after he too had resigned suddenly in September 2013.
