Golf sensation Tiger Woods has launched the One Bahamas Fund with Justin Timberlake with an initial USD 6 million donation, aimed at supporting relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Dorian.

Canada is warning nationals to avoid non-essential travel to Grand Bahama and the Abaco Islands and to exercise a high degree of caution if travelling to Freeport and Nassau due to crime.

Norwegian cruise lines is now committing $2 million to the Hurricane Dorian relief effort for the Bahamas, to help residents of the devastated Grand Bahama Island and Abaco Island in the north.

B.C. company, H.M.B. Holdings Ltd., is now in a court fight with Replay Resorts Inc. over Half Moon Bay in Antigua.

Cruise lines including Bahamas Paradise, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Norwegian and Carnival and others have joined in providing robust support to victims of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.

Chef José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen has kicked into full gear in the Bahamas, already providing over 100,000 meals for people in need of relief after Hurricane Dorian.

The Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA) say it will be donating US$20,000 to assist in relief efforts in hurricane-ravaged Bahamas.

Haiti has taken the 8th spot on the list of bottom 10 countries to visit as released by by the World Economic Forum.

JetBlue airways says it will begin nonstop service between JFK and Guyana in april 2020. THe carrier started selling tickets for the new route this week.
