News Americas, WASHINGTON, D.C., Fri. Aug. 12, 2016: Proving he is one of the coolest President yet, President Obama on Thursday dropped his summer playlist on Spotify and shockingly, only one Caribbean artiste made the cut.

While Potus’ list is indeed eclectic and features both old school and some current hits, the only Caribbean artiste on the list is reggae’s Damian “Jr. Gong Marley.

The President seems to be a fan of “As We Enter,” Marley’s duet with  Nas, born Nasir Jones.  The song was part of Marley and Nas’ “Distant Relatives” album.

Ironically the lyrics of the song mentions Obama as in: As we enter, come let we take you on to dig this adventure … Salute and honor, real revolution rhymers. Rhythm piranhas, like two Obamas, unfold the drama.”

Other artistes making Obama’s playlist include Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Aaron Neville, Nina Simone, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Jay Z and Common.
