News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Sat. Mar. 15, 2014: Guyana-Born Radio Producer and member of the National Action Network, J. D. Livingston, passed away on Saturday, March 15th after a battle with cancer.

The producer of Imotep Gary Byrd’s ‘G.B.E. Mindflight,’ heard weekly on WLIB Radio 1190 AM, was a passionate behind the scenes community warrior.

On Saturday, he was remembered as “a faithful supporter and contributor” to the National Action Network (NAN) and a regular at the ‘House of Justice’ for over 15 years,” by Rev. Al Shapton.

“JD was the drumbeat that kept the movement informed, aware, and at the ready. We will miss his presence, fellowship and dedication,” said Sharpton.

JD’s trade mark end to every conversation was ‘thank you for your kindness.’
