News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Sat. September 17, 2016: Jamaican-born, New York based designer Glenroy March continues to make a name for himself in the fashion capital and his latest New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017 collection did not disappoint.

On Tuesday, September 13, 2016 the designer returned to his fashion roots presenting another creative and compelling collection – Classique D’Marsh – as part of NYFW.

The collection delighted the capacity sized audience at the new midtown location of high-end European mattress maker Coco Mat. It opened with student fashion designers Kadeem Lamorell and Marcel Kosmider, from The High School of Fashion Industries each presenting a look they designed and developed during a six-week internship at D’Marsh Couture, where they learnt about the business of fashion and what it takes to run a fashion house.

A signature of the designer’s runway shows over the years is the opening and this year was no different as the presentation opened with violinist Tia, a Manhattan School of Music alumnae, who made her melodic runway debut.

Classique D’Marsh then took center stage, representing a return to the designer’s roots or the essence of the D’Marsh brand. This season, the designer selected some of his favorite silhouettes over the years: recreating a number of looks which embodies the signature colors of black, red and white and presented some 20 looks ranging from cocktail dresses to a couture evening gown to swimwear and great separates.

Caribbean Food Delights (CFD), the leading Caribbean frozen food manufacturer of Jamaican style patties, returned as title sponsor this season along with Caribbean Shopping Network, Clyopatra Couture, Coco Mat, Dream Castle Villa, En Blanc Couture NYC, iLAND Magazine, La’Face Models, Land We Love.com, LNJ Media PROductions and Runway Life. CG & D New York provided shoes.

To view the full collection, log on here or visit the retail location at 1190 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11216.
