Jamaican National Releases “50 Jamaican History Stories”

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Mar. 28, 2014: Jamaican national Richard Guy is focused on the history of his country with his latest self-published book entitled “50 Jamaican History Stories.”

Guy said the book was released in recognition of Jamaica’s 50^th anniversary of independence and focuses on the colorful history of a country emerging from almost 500 years of colonial rule.

The timing of the release of this book, Guy said, is an attempt to encourage Jamaicans to learn more of the history of Jamaica. The stories strive to portray the diversity and origins of all the various nationalities that make up Jamaica. For more see
