News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. May 16, 2016: Three of the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives being sought by the FBI currently are from Latin America, News Americas Now has learned.

Two are from Mexico and the third is from Honduras. From Mexico are Eduardo Ravelo and Fidel Urbina while Alexis Flores is from Honduras.

Ravelo is wanted for engaging in the affairs of an enterprise, through a pattern of racketeering activities; conspiracy to conduct the affairs of an enterprise, through a pattern of racketeering activities; conspiracy to launder monetary instruments; conspiracy to possess heroin, cocaine and marijuana with the intent to distribute. He was indicted in Texas in 2008 for his involvement in racketeering activities, conspiracy to launder monetary instruments, and conspiracy to possess heroin, cocaine and marijuana with the intent to distribute. His alleged criminal activities began in 2003.

Ravelo, 51, is known to be a Captain (Capo) within the Barrio Azteca criminal enterprise and is allegedly responsible for issuing orders to the Barrio Azteca members residing in Juarez, Mexico. Allegedly, Ravelo and the Barrio Azteca members act as “hitmen” for the Vicente Carrillo Fuentes Drug Trafficking Organization and are responsible for numerous murders. Ravelo has ties to Mexico and El Paso, Texas. He may have had plastic surgery and altered his fingerprints. He is about 5’9”, weighs 150 pounds and has a scar on his face and tattoos on his chest, abdomen, and back.

Fidel Urbina is also from Mexico.

Urbina is being sought on first degree murder charge as well as aggravated kidnapping; unlawful flight to avoid prosecution – aggravated sexual assault and failure to appear. He is wanted for allegedly beating and raping a woman in March of 1998. While out on bond, he also allegedly beat, raped and strangled a second woman to death in October of 1998. Her body was later found in the trunk of a vehicle that had been burned. Both crimes occurred in Chicago, Illinois.

Urbina, 41, may be residing in Durango, Mexico. He also has ties to the Chicago, Illinois, area. He also goes by the names Edgar Diaz Hernandez, Fernando Ramos, Fidel Bahena, Fidel Urbina Aguirre and Lorenzo Fidel. Urbina is White Hispanic and weighs about 175 pounds. He is around 5’11” and has scars (pock marks/acne) on his right cheek.

Alexis Flores is from Honduras.

Honduras-born Flores is being sought for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution as well as kidnapping, murder. Flores, 41, is wanted for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping and murder of a five-year-old girl in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The girl was reported missing in late July of 2000, and later found strangled to death in a nearby apartment in early August of 2000. Flores also goes by the nicknames Mario F. Roberto, Alex Contreras and Alesis Contreras and worked as a handyman.

He is 5’4”, weighs about 130-140 pounds and has scars on his forehead and right cheek.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of Urbina and Flores. All three are considered armed and extremely dangerous.
