News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Sept. 8, 2017: The British dependent territory is today assessing the damage after being pummeled Thursday night into Friday morning by Hurricane Irma. Some reported feeling their home shaking like it was an earthquake while others have lost roofs and electricity poles have been snapped like twigs. Streets and roads are flooded.
