News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Dec. 4, 2015: Say fine dining and often many think of Paris, Italy, New York or other first world destinations globally. But two South American restaurants are bucking that trend, making the top 25 list of Top Fine Dining Restaurants In The World.

According to TripAdvisor, these two gems are in South America – specifically in Argentina and in Chile.

Making the list at number 23 recently was:

La Bourgogne in Buenos Aires, Argentina: This restaurant located in the Alvear Palace Hotel, offers French cuisine thanks to Chef Jean Paul Bondoux who bewitches guests with his extremely sophisticated cuisine. The pre-fixed menu is a great option. The flambéed beef tenderloin is also a must as it is beautifully prepared table side and tasty. Portion size here are larger than one would expect in a French restaurant and each dish is beautifully presented with matching service.

Rounding out the top 25 is a Chilean specialty restaurant.

Borago in Santiago, Chile is a place you will go to if you’re looking for a creative, inventive, exciting and totally local gastronomy lesson and experience.   It offers a 10 course menu with matching wines that is presented with thought, creativity and inventiveness. Each dish is explained and they are made with only Chilean products. The creative presentation will leave you in awe.
