News Americas, LOS ANGELES, CA, Weds. July 20, 2016: A Caribbean roots actress who is best known for her role as Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air found her prince charming on eHarmony.

Tatyana Ali, who was born to a Trinidadian father and a Panamanian mother in North Bellmore, NY 37-years ago, married Dr. Vaughn Rasberry during an intimate ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday, July 17th.

The actress and her now-husband, met on eHarmony a little less than two years ago. They has announced their engagement – and that they were expecting their first child together recently.

The actress yesterday tweeted a photo of her and her new husband to her fans with a note that said simply: “Thanks so much everyone for all the well wishes!!! Looks like this is going to be a really full year.”

She also tweeted a photo of her holding a bottle of Martinelli and looking out a window with a tweet that said: “We’re hitched! Martinellis on me!! Thank you for the #mazel @Andy @Bravotv.”

Ali is a graduate of Harvard University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in African-American studies and government in 2002.  She was in a relationship with actor Jonathan Brandis for six years before revealing her engagement on March 31, 2016 to Rasberry, an assistant professor of English at Stanford University.
