Eddy Murphy has released his latest reggae single.

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Tues. June 30, 2015: What do you get when a Hollywood actor and a Jamaican dancehall singer join forces?

The answer is easy – it’s “Wonna Deez Nites!

At least that’s what the collaboration between Eddie Murphy, the comedian turned Hollywood actor and now reggae singer and a Jamaican dancehall icon Beenie Man produced.

Murphy , who recently released ‘Oh Jah, Jah,’ will drop his second single today, June 30 on VPAL Music, the new VP Records’ subsidiary label and distribution arm.

This new collaboration is the first time in over 20 years since Murphy has worked with another Jamaican artist musically. In 1993, he paired up with legendary Jamaican dancehall artist Shabba Ranks on his song “I Was A King.”
“Oh Jah Jah” peaked at #1 on iTunes Reggae Single Chart and debuted in the Top 5 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Digital Song Chart.
