May 4, 2016: The celebration continues for Leicester soccer fans after their Jamaican roots captain, Wes Morgan after the team secured an incredible first Premier League title without playing on Monday after second-place Tottenham drew 2-2 at Chelsea. Here are 10 things you may not know about Morgan that you should:

1: Morgan was not born in Jamaica but in Nottingham, England and was rejected by Nottingham Forest’s near neighbors Notts County at the age of 15 leading him to contemplate abandoning football as a career option.

2: He began his career with the Nottingham Forest Football Club as a defender and went on to claim the title of longest serving player with the team, playing 402 official games and scoring 14 goals.

3: Morgan only transferred to Leicester City’s Club in January 2012.

4: One year later he was named captain and went on to play nearly 200 matches in all competitions for them, winning the Championship in 2014 and now the Premier League two years later.

5: Morgan, 32, is still pinching himself over the Foxes’ miraculous Premier League title on May 2nd.  And he is hoping to avoid bursting into tears when lifting the Premier League trophy at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

6: Morgan chose to represent his ancestral homeland of Jamaica at the international level three years ago. was called up to the Jamaican Reggae Boyz squad for the first time in September 2013. He made his debut in a 0–0 draw against Panama at the Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City on 7 September 2013.  A year later, the 6’1”, 205 pound player captained the Reggae Boyz for the first time in the 3–1 defeat to Canada on September 9, 2014.

7: Morgan has insisted that it was his love of football and his ability as a youngster that undoubtedly kept him on the straight and narrow.

8: Morgan is a co-owner of Blue Ink, a tattoo studio in Leicester. He has added considerably to his collection of body art since having his first one done when he was a teenager on a notorious Nottingham estate.

9: Morgan is a father to one child named Rio Morgan.

10: Captain Morgan has announced that they’re planning to knock out a special limited edition bottle of rum in honor of Leicester City’s title-winning skipper Morgan. The decision apparently came about after a ‘chance’ Twitter interaction with Morgan Monday night, after the side’s win.
