News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Dec. 1, 2017: Seven Caribbean beaches have been named among the world’s top 15 beaches in this year’s annual TripAdvisor survey.
Taking the top spot for the region and only second globally is Grace Bay beach in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.
Coming in at third on the list worldwide and only second in the Caribbean is Eagle Beach Palm in Aruba while a fourth overall and only third in the region is Playa Paraiso in Cayo Largo, Cuba.
Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands took the 12th spot on the global Top 25 list and only the fourth spot in the Caribbean while Flamenco Beach in Culebra, Puerto Rico was named the 13th best beach in the world and the fifth best in the Caribbean.
The title of sixth best Caribbean beach went to Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic which was ranked at 14th globally while Seven Mile Beach in Negril, Jamaica rounded out the top 15th spot while ranking at seventh best for the region.
The title of number one beach in the world went to Baia do Sancho in Fernando de Noronha, Brazil.
