News Americas, Philadelphia March 18, 2017 – The African and Caribbean Business Council (ACBC), the Philadelphia 76ers and the African Business Forum host The Second Annual African Caribbean Heritage Night on Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 4:30 pm to 9 pm at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The African Caribbean Heritage Night starts with a business forum with the theme “The Future of Agri-Business in Africa” and diplomats and business owners from several African countries are expected to be in attendance. Presentations will be made by the embassies of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Mali on the status of agricultural production in their respective countries.
The business forum will present potential opportunities in Africa for Philadelphia area firms in a range of industries. Africa represents an area of rapid growth and the forum will enable networking with decision makers in several African countries.
The Philadelphia 76ers will make a special presentation on the NBA in Africa. The keynote speaker is Ambassador Dr. Robin Renee Saunders, who will speak about her new book, The Rise of Africa’s Small and Medium Size Enterprises.
The evening begins at 4:30 pm with the business forum and follows with the Philadelphia 76ers playing the Atlanta Hawks beginning at 7 pm. All guests will be hosted as VIPs in the Club Box level with access to food while viewing the game.
