News Americas, PHILADELPHIA, PA, Saturday, April 25, 2015: The Bahamian men’s 4×400-m relay team put up a great fight against Team U.S.A Saturday while managing to hold back Jamaica and take the second place spot in the USA vs. the World Men 4×400 race at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia.

Demetrius Pinder, Michael Mathieu , Alonzo Russell and Ramon Miller held on for second spot in a time of 3:01.63 to beat Jamaica’s Allodin Fothergill, Javon Francis, Ricardo Chambers and Rusheen McDonald  who ended in 3:03.02.

The Bahamas’ Ramon Miller was tough competition for the US’ Patrick Feeney, running for Team USA for the first time at Penn, but Fenney managed to hold on to the lead and hand his side the win in a time of 3:00.86.

Brazil’s Green Team of Pedro Oliveira, Wagner Cardoso, Hederson Estefani and Hugo Sousa were fourth in  3:03.04.
