Brigitte Comazzi Duval named creative director at Gerard Darel

The French ready-to-wear brand has appointed Brigitte Comazzi Duval as its new creative director. A graduate of the prestigious Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in France, Brigitte Comazzi Duval got her start as a designer for French ready-to wear brand Kookaï and as head of the styling department at Etam. After three years as a consultant and stylist for Marks & Spencer and Cyrillus, she became the creative director at Comptoir des Cotonniers, where she spent six years. For the past two years, she has been design director at Tara Jarmon & Bal Edition.
