News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. June 12, 2020: A Caribbean-born singer and independent record label owner has been so moved by the killing of George Floyd that he has released a song that focuses on the Houston-born bouncer’s last words.

Saint Lucia-bornYves Lewis, owner and producer of the WildCubby Music record label, has released the new single, ‘I Can’t Breathe,’ featuring Seychelle Elise.

Lewis, who lives in Massachusetts but hails from the community of Paix Bouche, Babboneau in Saint Lucia, says he was inspired by his lived experiences as a black man in the US and the protests that have erupted around the world in reaction to the Black Lives Matter movement and the death of Floyd.
