Guyana Leads CPL 2018 Table

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 24, 2018: The Guyana Amazon Warriors is at the top of the leader board as the 2018 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T-20 cricket tourney continues.

The Guyanese, with just one loss from four matches to date, are sitting pretty with 6 points. Last year’s champions, the Trinbago Knight Riders are in second place after 5 matches and two losses, with 6 points as well.

The Jamaica Tallawahs also have six points but have suffered three consecutive losses in their six games. All of the losses were suffered in South Florida after the Tallawahs lost to Guyana on Saturday, August 18th, to Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday, August 19th and to Barbados on August 21st.

St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots are in fourth place with four points after four matches, which included 2 wins and 2 losses. Barbados’ Tridents are in fifth place with 4 points as well after 3 matches which included 2 wins and one loss.

The St. Lucia Stars are in the bottom with two points after 6 matches that includes 5 losses and just one win.
