La Perla to launch men’s loungewear collection for 2015

For the Spring-Summer 2015 season, the famous lingerie brand has announced plans to launch a loungewear and beachwear collection for gentlemen. The items in this new collection will be officially unveiled on June 19 at Pitti Uomo, the famous menswear trade show in Florence, Italy. Created by the stylist Emiliano Rinaldi, this La Perla collection is inspired by a surreal undersea world where oysters, flying fish, jellyfish and seahorses swim side by side. “The symbol of the collection is a print inspired by the world of Italian artist Piero Fornasetti: a winged oyster that guards a pearl transformed into a mysterious eye,” explains the luxury brand.
