SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Feb. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Seaborne Airlines is pleased to announce the addition of non-stop service between San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) to Clayton J. Lloyd International airport on the island of Anguilla (AXA), with service starting on April 30, 2015.  With the addition of Anguilla, Seaborne will now serve 16 destinations throughout the Caribbean.  This is as many destinations as was offered at San Juan before Seaborne established a hub there.

Anguilla passengers can use Seaborne Airlines for seamless connections with the carrier’s portfolio of partner airlines.  Flights will also be marketed by American Airlines via codeshare, and will be available for sale on all American Airlines distribution channels, including AA.com.  Additional Seaborne connecting partners include Air Europa, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, and United Airlines.  In aggregate, Seaborne and the carrier’s partners offer non-stop service to 32 destinations in the Americas and Europe from San Juan.  Seaborne’s expanding network out of San Juan has helped solidify San Juan’s position as the Caribbean’s largest hub.

“We are excited to help facilitate travel to the beautiful island of Anguilla with Seaborne’s un-paralleled customer service,”  said Gary Foss, CEO and President of Seaborne Airlines, “the service would not have been possible without the support of The Puerto Rico Tourism Company and the Anguilla Tourism Board.  We thank them for their support.”

Seaborne’s service into Anguilla will launch on April 30, 2015, and operate three times weekly.  Service will operate on Seaborne’s fleet of Saab 340 aircraft, comfortably configured with 34 seats, two pilots, and a flight attendant.  Details of Seaborne’s schedule into Anguilla is provided below:
