This Caribbean Government Plans To Move With “Deliberate Haste” On Marijuana

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Dec. 6, 2018: Another Caribbean government says it plans to move on medical marijuana soon, but with “deliberate haste.”

The Bahamas, Minister of Health Dr. Duane Sands said this week the government will be moving to examine the controversial issue and develop a policy position. Sands said the process of approving the members of the Bahamas National Commission on Marijuana has been completed at the Cabinet level and a number of stakeholder groups have submitted nominees to join that body.
