News Americas, LOS ANGELES, CA, Thurs. Sept. 8, 2016: Jamaican Toni-Ann Williams proved this week she is a much better gymnast than she is a pitcher.

The Olympian and University of Berkley (CAL)  student threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Oakland Athletics’ game against the Los Angeles Angels Tuesday night, Sept. 6, 2016.

But Williams’ throw was way off target.

The gymnast cart wheeled then tried to pitch resulting in the off target pitch. To which Major League Baseball (MLB) tweeted: “Throw might cost her a medal.”

Williams who was born to Jamaican parents in Maryland, made history for Jamaica by represented the country in gymnastics in Rio. The 20-year-old finished 38th overall.
