Victoria Beckham shows off the brand’s first shoe collection

The 40-year-old British designer is opening her first flagship store in London later this fall, a move she says “has inspired and pushed me to focus on the DNA of my brand more than ever.” And, at her New York Fashion Week show, held Sunday in The Big Apple, Beckham showed off a fresh collection that sits somewhere between the zeitgeist conjuring of fashion’s biggest names and the contemporary high street.  This is also the first time the designer has presented her own line of shoes, crafted in her own atelier in London.
