News Americas, LOS ANGELES, CA, Thurs. Jan. 29, 2015: Mustique, a small private island that is part of St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean, is the island of choice for Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge’s last vacation before their second baby arrives.

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, Prince William and baby Prince George, have been joined on the island by her parents Carole and Michael Middleton to also celebrate Mrs. Middleton’s 60th birthday on January 31st.

Also joining the Royals and the Middletons on Mistique are Kate’s brother and sister, James and Pippa.

The family are reported to be staying at the stunning Aurora Villa on the island, which features a private swimming pool and sun deck, plus a butler, chef and housekeeper to cater to their every need at a whopping £10,000-a-week.

The villa has been previously featured in Architectural Digest and allows guests sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.

The Royal family flew to St Lucia before hopping onto a private plane which flew them to Mustique. They were accompanied by a team of Scotland Yard bodyguards who have taken over Villa Rocina. The couple expects their second child in April.

The island of Mustique is one of a group of islands called the Grenadines and is located within Grenadines Parish, an administrative area of the country.

The island covers 1,400 acres and has several coral reefs. The land fauna includes tortoisesherons and many other species. Its year-round population of about 500 mostly live in the villages of Lovell, Britannia Bay, and Dover.

The island of Mustique is owned by the Mustique Company, which in turn is owned by the island’s home owners. The island has approximately 100 private villas, many of which are rented out through the Mustique Company. In addition there is one hotel called the Cotton House, owned by the Mustique Company, and one privately owned seven-bedroom hotel called Firefly.
