Brazilian Contemporary Music For NYC

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Tues. June 14, 2011: Contemporary Brazilian music is coming to NYC this Friday.

Famed Brazilian musicians Caito Marcondes and Eva Gomyde are set to kick-off the summer with a headlining show and the US premiere of Brazilian Contemporary Music this Friday, June 17th.

Show time is 8:30 p.m. at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse (Samuel B. & David Rose Building, 10th Floor) located at 165 West 65th Street on the corner of Amsterdam Avenue. All tickets are $38.00, and available by calling CenterCharge at 212-721-6500, visiting www.lincolncenter.org, or heading to Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall box office.

Brazilian Contemporary Music features original music by Composer/Percussionist Marcondes and Composer/Pianist Gomyde.
Other musicians include: Tracy Silverman (violin, electric violin), Duncan Wickel (violin), Lev ‘Ljova’ Zhurbin (viola), Mark Summer (cello), Leco Reis (bass), and Dana Leong (trombone).
