Lemaire to guest design for Uniqlo

Christophe Lemaire and the Japanese fashion giant are working on a womenswear and menswear collection for Fall 2015. The news comes just a day before Lemaire’s highly anticipated ready-to-wear show at Paris Fashion Week. Previous guest designers at Uniqlo include Inès de la Fressange, Chloë Sevigny, Lily Donaldson and Helmut Lang’s menswear designer Alexandre Plokhov who created last fall’s capsule. “We have always dreamt to work with Uniqlo,” revealed Lemaire designers Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Lihn Tran who are fans of Uniqlo’s creative, comfortable everyday garments, and believe they are on the same page.
